Hello! I am Angie Johns, a board certified PA who has had a passion for medicine since reading an autobiography in 8th grade called “The Making of a Woman Surgeon”. I have an extensive background in emergency medicine and still love the art of identifying life threatening medical emergencies and treatment. However, many people have chronic illness that becomes exacerbated that leads to ER visits that can be prevented. Many people have never experienced a true relationship with their primary care provider that enables them to get down to the root cause of issues. It is root cause cellular/functional medicine that is my passion as I believe God gave me a talent to understand medicine in a way to bring it to the average person who does not speak our medical lingo. I believe each person is made in the image of God (“imago dei”) and I have the honor to use my talents to serve people whom God loves so very much.
I love medicine and the human body to the point of being a nerd and bookworm. I enjoy helping people get healthy holistically from mind, body and spirit. From assessing how a person thinks to the blood circulating to their toes – it is all interconnected. It is amazing how getting nutrient deficiencies corrected, optimizing thyroid, adrenal glands and ovarian hormones and moving in the direction of metabolic health can make a person feel SO much better.
If you are interested in finding a “good mechanic” for your body – someone to tell you what is going on “under the hood”, that may be related to symptoms you are having – I would love the opportunity to help you restore balance and move in the direction of true health. Come journey with me and we can do this together!
